Elaine Nuessler, of Summerland, BC is the 63 year old grandmother of Kyla Williams, a young child suffering from a rare form of Intractable Epilepsy.
Elaine has been married to Chris Nuessler a veteran RCMP Officer for over 42 years. Chris and Elaine’s daughter, Courtney, is married to Jared Williams - Kyla is their daughter.
Elaine is the co-founder of WrapZone Restaurants Inc. in BC. She and husband Chris retired to Summerland in 2002 to run a bed and breakfast called Apples and Quails which is now owned by former guests of theirs.
Elaine is the co-founder of Kyla’s Quest: Medical Cannabis for Sick Kids and currently runs the organization. Her work with this non-profit has lead her to advocate for the medical use of cannabis for all people as well as for the many children who suffer from debilitating afflictions such as epilepsy.
Elaine and Chris opened Purple Hemp Co Deep Wellness in Summerland in the Summer of 2017. This retail and natural healing place allows Elaine to continue advocating and helping people with their medical cannabis journey.
